We are seeking implementing partners for a clinical education program based out of Bugando Medical Centre and the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences (CUHAS).

The Touch Foundation, Inc is seeking the following partners for a clinical education program based out of Bugando Medical Centre and the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences (CUHAS) to assist with various aspects of program implementation.
1. Technical and Business Advisor
We are seeking a partner or partners to help us design and implement telecommunication system to supply data to our program's Monitoring and Evaluation System. In addition, the telecommunication system will provide mobile payments to data suppliers. We are seeking a design and implementation partner who can also assist in developing a proposal for the major telecommunication providers in Tanzania.
2. Medical Equipment and Biomedical Engineering Partner
We are seeking a partner or partners who can assist in management of equipment and supply inventories in 6 regional and district hospitals in the Lake Zone of Tanzania. Activities would include taking full inventory of equipment and supplies at the hospitals, procurement of the Touch funded medical equipment and supplies and maintenance of the Touch funded medical equipment on an ongoing basis (to be renewed each year). Partner must have expertise in biomedical engineering and be able to provide ongoing maintenance for procured equipment and transfer biomedical engineering skills to Tanzanian hospital staff. All proposals should include a plan for developing and implementing an equipment inventory system for the 6 hospitals. All proposals should include provisions for processing donated equipment from outside sources such as International Medical Surplus Organizations.
Proposals for both of the above items will be evaluated based on the following factors: technical approach and capability (25%); past performance (50%); key personnel (20%); and gender equality (5%).
