The Touch Foundation, Inc is seeking implementing partners for a clinical education program based out of Bugando Medical Centre and the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences (CUHAS). We are seeking a partner or partners to help us undertake clinical education rotations for CUHAS medical students in pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology and general surgery at regional and district hospitals in the Lake Zone beginning in September 2012. We seek partner/s who will provide board eligible or certified specialist/s in the areas listed above with clinical education experience to work in a regional or district hospital from Sept 2012 - July 2013 at a minimum. In addition we seek a partner to assist us with the establishment of a robust Monitoring and Evaluation system for this work. Partners can respond in full or in part to any of the components of this work.
We prefer partners who will also contribute their own resources to our work. Any organization applying to be an above partner should be able to contribute some component of: oversight to the clinical education teams on a continual basis, contribute to the design of academic program curriculum, and/or assist in the development of a community engagement plan all as donated services.
Proposals for both of the above items will be evaluated based on the following factors: technical approach and capability (25%); past performance (50%); key personnel (20%); and gender equality (5%).
