PBS Features Touch Foundation's Efforts on Primetime TV
On Sept. 15, 2009, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer reported on the Touch Foundation's efforts to train new health workers in Tanzania during a feature about the severe shortage of doctors in Tanzania.
The segment features the Tanzanian Minister of Health, Touch Foundation Executive Director Lee Wells, Weill Bugando University medical students, and Dr. Robert Peck, a visiting doctor from Weill Cornell Medical School who is supported by the Touch Foundation.
