Mchezo!
On October 2, some six hundred guests attended the Touch Foundation's mchezo! benefit at Rose Theater, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Swahili for "fun" or "party," mchezo! featured an exhilarating dance performance by the Ailey II dance troupe of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Following the performance, guests had a chance to mingle and meet the dancers in the breathtaking Allen Room overlooking Central Park while sipping cocktails and enjoying modern East African music.
