April 22, 2009

On Wednesday, April 22, 2009, with the shared goal of eradicating malaria in Tanzania, over 200 doctors, lawyers, artists, bankers and other professionals partied, mixed and mingled at the trendy nightclub, 1Oak for the Touch Foundation's Spring Fling. By attending the event, young professionals helped raise over $12,000 that will support the training of doctors, nurses and other health workers in Tanzania.

The Spring Fling included open select bar sponsored by Flor de Cana Rum, a mélange of African and mainstream beats by DJake (Jake Bright), and a silent auction featuring private Pilates sessions, facials, Vineyard Vines Ties, a Coach bag as well as other exciting items.

A special thank you to Spring Fling Chair, Joanna Yang, Logan McClure for securing our sponsorship, Alexa Miller for designing our invitation, and the host committee who pulled together a successful, fun event.
